ABOUT KNOXVILLE
DRAWING
GROUP
Come along to our meetups to improve your drawing in a relaxed and social atmosphere and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials. If you are a complete beginner all you need to start drawing pad and some pencils, which can be easily obtained online or from your nearest art supplies store.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

INSTRUCTORS
Kelly Manning
Kelly Manning is a Naarm (Melbourne) based multidisciplinary artist working across printmaking, sculpture, installation, painting and drawing. She completed a Master of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts and has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Florence Biennale, where she was awarded 4th place in Sculpture in 2023. Her work has also been exhibited at Casula Powerhouse, VCA Artspace and in group exhibitions across Australia.
Manning has undertaken residencies in St Vincents Hospital, Fitzroy, Vietnam, regional Australia and Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice. She was awarded the Dora McRae Exhibition Prize at the Victorian College of the Arts and has been a finalist in the Wyndham Art Prize, Experimental Print Prize and the Midsumma and Australia Post Art Award. Her current practice focuses on experimental and sustainable printmaking processes using salvaged materials and expanded forms of print installation.
